Muhammad Ali Faizi Memorial Research Fellowship

The Muhammad Ali Faizi Memorial Fund has been established through the generosity of his family, under the auspices of the Bahá’í Chair for World Peace to support research and information dissemination. The Fund has made possible the publication of several Annual Lectures among other materials, as well as lending support for conferences and other gatherings for the exchange of ideas in the furtherance of peace.

Mr. Muhammad Ali Faizi served the cause of world peace through his life-long pursuit of research in comparative religious history. His literary works were influenced by his travels throughout the Middle East, the Far East, and the West. He was well known as a scholar of religious history, specifically the Bahá’í sacred texts. His most important recognition, however, springs from the spirit of humanity, serenity, and perseverance that he shared with everyone he met. His life exemplified the principles on which the Chair is established.
